KappAhl: New manager Far East

Roland Arvidsson, 56 years old, has been appointed the new manager of KappAhl Far East and will be working from Hong Kong. He has many years experience of textile industry production, including with H&M in India, Turkey and Pakistan.

KappAhl's manufacturing is subcontracted to independent companies, of which most are in Asia. The local purchasing offices follow up quality and prices and how manufacturers comply with the code of conduct.

"The purchasing offices are the extended arm in key production countries. Roland's experience from production and purchasing is essential to KappAhl's continued expansion," says Mari Svensson KappAhl's Vice President Purchasing.

Taking over immediately, Roland Arvidsson will be in charge of the development and management of KappAhl Far East. The area comprises the purchasing offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
