SPRING 2011 AT KAPPAHL CHILDREN

2010-11-24

Colourful patterns and cool neutrals offer a playful spring at KappAhl Children

Sailor stripes, colourful preppy and useful basics are just small parts of what is offered in KappAhl’s collection for the youngest in the family, during the spring of 2011.

SIMPLE LIFE

A clean cut style where classic basic pieces are layered with influences of older times. The chino-pant is presented in new variations and is, on the boys side, combined with cotton- and grandpa shirts in shades of blue. The girl side is influenced of utility and the cargo trend, matched with romantic flower prints. Denim is still the key material and the dungaree pant makes a return to both girls and boys.

-“Other key items is the chino-pant, the loose fitted jersey pant and the army jacket”, says Anna Bredberg, Design and Purchasing Manager, KappAhl Childrenswear The colour scheme is neutral with shades of beige and khaki and cool blue tones mixed with denim. For girls combined with coral and pink.

MONTE CARLO

Sailor in a new way! A colourful theme where the stripes are essential. The 50’s and 60’s is a source of inspiration on the girls side, while the boys side includes an updated and colourful preppy look, with a pair of red chinos among the pieces.

-“Denim, chinos, striped jersey, fuller skirts and knits all come in crispy, washed cotton”, Anna Bredberg concludes.
