KappAhl is opening in the Igor shopping arcade in Västerås

On Thursday 23 September, the fashion chain KappAhl is opening four new stores in Sweden, Norway and the Czech Republic. One of these stores lies in the best location in central Västerås. The store lies in the newly-renovated shopping quarter Igor by Stora Torget. The 1,100 square-metre store will offer KappAhl's complete assortment of inspiring and good value fashion for women, men and children. "We have a very good central location in Igor and it will be a good addition to trade in central Västerås," says Anette Cederholm, Store Manager for KappAhl's new store.

KappAhl's new store has the Igor shopping quarter's best location and covers about 1,100 square meters. It thereby fulfills KappAhl's strategy of establishing itself in the best business districts and shopping centers.
"Our modern store lies at street level and it is very visible from both entrances," says Anette Cederholm who has worked as a Store Manager at KappAhl for 21 years.
In KappAhl's stores, customers can find the season's fashions with a well-coordinated assortment for women, men and children, including KappAhl's eco-friendly and environment marked range. "We offer customers the latest fashions for everyday and party wear with matching accessories," says Anette Cederholm.

Seven employees will work in the store. There will be a Store Manager, a Decorator and a sales force of five. The store's fittings are in line with KappAhl's modern furnishing concept with light and lightweight fittings. It is also environmentally friendly, which involves among other things reduced power for lighting and cooling.
"New, fresh fashion products arrive in our stores every week," says Anette Cederholm. "We are very much looking forward to welcoming our customers."

On Thursday, the red carpet will be rolled out for the grand opening and there will be several attractive premiere offers. From Thursday up to and including Sunday, all customers will receive a 25% discount on the entire range. Several new KappAhl stores are opening on the same day on the same day KappAhl is also opening stores in Bromma,
Malvik (Norway) and Liberec (Czech Republic). With these premieres, KappAhl has 155 stores in Sweden and total of 350 in the Group. KappAhl already has two stores in Västerås. In September 2011, the business in the Skrapan store will move to the Erikslund retail park. KappAhl also has a store in the Hälla shopping center.
