KappAhl opens store no 346 in Liberec

Swedish fashion chain KappAhl to Liberec Forum
On Thursday 23rd September, the fashion chain KappAhl is opening a new store in the best location in Liberec Forum. The 850 square-metre store will offer KappAhl’s complete range of inspiring and good value fashion for women, men and children.
”We have found a very good location for our continuing expansion in the Czech Republic, and we believe that KappAhl will be a welcome addition to the shopping on offer here in Liberec Forum,” says Zuzana Cisternas, Country Manager for KappAhl in the Czech Republic.
Forum is Liberec’s newest and most central shopping centre. KappAhl’s new store is in the shopping centre’s best location and it is about 850 square metres. Thereby it fulfils KappAhl’s strategy of establishing itself in central business districts and shopping centres in the Czech Republic. ”Our modern store is in the newly built part of Forum and it will complement the other shops available in the centre well,” says Zuzana Cisternas.
In KappAhl’s stores, customers can find the season’s fashions with a well-coordinated range for women, men and children, including KappAhl’s eco-labelled range. ”We offer customers the latest fashions for everyday and party wear with matching accessories,” says Zuzana Cisternas.
About 10 people will work in the store. These will be a Store Manager, an Assistant Store Manager, a Visual Merchandiser and 7 salespeople. The store’s fittings are in line with KappAhl’s modern furnishing concept with light and lightweight fittings. It is also environmentally friendly, which involves among other things reduced power for lighting and cooling.
”New fresh fashion products will arrive in store every week,” says Zuzana Cisternas. ”We are very much looking forward to welcoming our customers.”
The store in Liberec Forum opens with several attractive premier offers. On Thursday, the red carpet will be rolled out for the grand opening and the opening times are being extended. Up to and including Sunday, customers will receive a 25% discount on the entire range.
The Czech Republic - a growing market for KappAhl’s fashion
With the store in Liberec, KappAhl has two stores in the Czech Republic and a total of 346 in the Group. Before the end of the year, a further KappAhl store has its premier; on 11 November, KappAhl opens in Prague, to be more specific in Galerie Harfa. ”The Czech Republic is a growing market for KappAhl’s fashion. Our ambition is to establish ourselves in attractive shopping locations across the Czech Republic, where our fashion has the opportunity to be seen in the best way,” says Zuzana Cisternas. Further KappAhl stores are planned to open in 2011.
