Colour and rock’n’roll at KappAhl Tweenies this autumn
Denim, strong colours, rock’n’roll and sporty are some of the key words in KappAhls Tweenies collection this autumn. A collection where girls and boys aged 7-14 is guaranteed to find their favourites for the season.
Utility: A tough collection with a rock’n’roll attitude where the key items for girls are tops with prints, net jumpers, checkered shirts, jeans and leggings.
- The garments may well be styled layer on layer combined with a pair of heavy boots, says Tina Nicander, Collection Manager KappAhl Tweenies.
The colour scheme consists of khaki green, black and off white and is accentuated by a pale pink shade. The silhouette is narrow at the bottom and oversized at the top. Apart from big prints, with text and faces, some garments are decorated with studs and side pockets.
It is a colourful autumn for boys and we can see both neon yellow, orange and turquoise prints on sweaters and t-shirts on a black background. The garments are sporty and relaxed. The collection includes everything from plain basic sweaters to denim and baggy sweatpants.
Comp: A collection consisting of sportier garments with a colour scheme with off white and black as the base and where deep cerise and petrol blue act as the accentuating colours on the girl side. Some garments are even decorated by embroideries.
- It is comfortable clothes such as sweatpants, tops and hoods, all in the softest cotton, tells Tina Nicander.
American rugby has been the inspiration for the boy’s garments, where striped sweaters with big numbers as prints are used. The garments have a nice retro touch to them. Denim- and sweatpants and checkered shirts and hoodies are also part of the key garments.
Lab Industries: As in previous collections denim is the key in this collection. For girls the slim fitted jeans continues to dominate and will be available in a variety of washes and colours like grey, blue and black.
- Also on the boy’s side denim is playing the leading role, but we can also find some checkered shirts and t-shirts here, says Tina Nicander.
The jeans will be available in different washes and some styles are baggy and have twisted legs.
