KappAhl Man – tailored and updated classics
Join us to the wild west, the challenging nature of Alaska and to Paris, the mecca of fashion, and you will get a distinct understanding of this autumn’s fashion at KappAhl Man. The season offers stylish and well-tailored garments for the confident man who knows what he wants.
Americana: Inspired by American icons like cowboys, James Dean and fishermen in Alaska the designers at KappAhl Man have created a collection where rugged fabrics, detailed garments and a rustic feeling is the key behind the collection.
- Natural wear and tear and used finishes are styles included in the collection for a relaxed and neat expression, says Niclas Andersson, Design- & Purchasing Manager at KappAhl Man.
Denim and chambray, checkered flannel shirts, a leatherjacket in bikerstyle, printed t-shirts and heavy knitted cardigans are some of the themes key items.
- The garments may well be styled together with neckerchiefs, teal socks and heavy boots, continues Niclas Andersson.
Apart from the classic checkers the patterns have also been inspired by American folklore.
One Day In Paris: Casually well-dressed in the city are the watchword for this trend where classics have transformed into modern musts. Key items are the washed shirt and the heavy jacket which is best styled together with fabrics such as cord and tweed. The focus is on the lining, labelling and buttons.
- These timeless garments are renewed through the detailing and choice of fabric. The silhouette is slim and narrow at the bottom and wider at the top, tells Niclas Andersson.
The colour scheme contains autumn shades but also includes an urban side with black and grey tones.
Sartorialist: A classic and stylish theme with roots in tailoring. Key items are the suit, tweed-trousers and the well-ironed shirt which advantageous can be styled together with tie, bow tie and genuine leather accessories.
- Feel free to match the jacket with an odd pair of trousers and style it in layers with knitted garments and an overcoat. Imagine figure Don Drapers impeccable style in the series Mad Men to get the right feeling for the style, says Niclas Andersson.
