HELP SAVE THE WOMEN’S HEART!
For the fifth year in a row KappAhl sells jewelry in favor of the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation’s campaign "Save the women's heart - Go Red". This year a beautiful necklace and bracelet designed by Miss Dee. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the campaign.
Women are KappAhl’s primary target group. The fashion chain is proud to, together with its customers, contribute to the vital research into women’s heart. The Heart-Lung Foundation´s campaign “Save the women’s heart – Go Red” aims to highlight that women suffer from heart disease to the same extent as men. Many women live in ignorance of the risk of getting heart disease, and in fact, more women die from heart disease than any other disease. More knowledge about women’s heart is needful. The Heart-Lung Foundation’s goal is to halve the mortality rate in acute heart attack for women within five years and thereby save the lives of over 2,000 women each year.
Last year’s campaign raised the highest amount ever from KappAhl and its customers. The company sold campaign products for close to 1.1 million SEK and at the end of the year a check by the same amount was handed over to the Heart-Lung Foundation. KappAhl now looks forward to once again show its support for hundreds of thousands of women who suffer from heart disease. KappAhl wants to help save women's heart.
