KappAhl flirts with the 1950s in the new
Vintage Stories collection

Spring’s Vintage Stories collection is full of happiness and cheer, optimism and faith in the future.
The collection flirts with the idea that “things were better before”, and pays tribute to the female form with a selection of fabulously feminine garments.

“Our designers have created this collection with a twinkle in their eyes. That’s why the mix of patterns is so full of imagination. Every button, pocket, print and last little detail has been carefully considered to enhance the sensation that each of these garments is unique,” says Carina Ladow, Design and Purchasing Manager at KappAhl.

Soft cotton is the keynote for all the pieces in this collection. Together with the palette of subtle shades, this creates a distinctively fresh feel. It’s as if the clothes have just been washed and then hung out to dry in the spring breeze and sunshine.

“We had in mind the kind of woman who feels comfortable with herself and isn’t afraid to enjoy the occasional cake or pastry. So we’ve included both muffin tins and aprons in the collection.

“The collection offers a selection of 1950s style garments in most product groups. As before, we also have a matching collection for girls – from little babies (size 62 cm) to young ladies (size 170 cm). Each item comes in its own specially created colourway and in a strictly limited edition.”
Vintage Stories will be on sale from week 14 onwards (5 April) in most KappAhl stores.
