Most of the clothes in our collections are designed by KappAhl´s in-house designers.
HOW SAFE ARE KAPPAHL´S CHILDREN´S CLOTHES?
We have been actively involved in creating an EU directive for safe children´s clothes. KappAhl also complies fully with the Swedish Consumer Agency´s industry agreement on safety issues regarding children´s clothing.
HOW MUCH DO KAPPAHL CHILDREN´S CLOTHES SHRINK?
We follow the Swedish Consumer Agency´s recommendations, which stipulate a maximum of 2% shrinkage on woven garments and 5% for knitted garments. If any garment shrinks more, this information is included in the washing instructions.
CAN AN UNDERWIRED BRA BE MACHINE WASHED?
A loose wire can damage your washing machine. You can reduce the risk by using a laundry bag, but we recommend that you wash underwired bras by hand. This also applies to padded bras, as the action of the washing machine can cause the padding to become lumpy.
WHY DON´T KAPPAHL CLOTHES CONTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT WHERE THEY ARE MADE?
We now show this information on our labels once again. New garments will gradually carry this information, and all garments will be labelled with their country of origin before the spring of 2009.
Can you buy maternity wear at KappAhl?
No, we do not sell any maternity wear in our stores. However, we do have a collection of underwear in our Body Zone department.
